There s a call to crack down on China’s policies to protect troops from faulty machines and security breaches. TRADE: China is a focal issue when it comes to currency manipulations, poor trade policies, counterfeit goods, and theft of intellectual property. Both sides want to put pressure on China to conform to more universal and competitive trade standards.

For popular vote. Democrats support further funding of HAVA and updating equipment to support more secure paper ballots. They believe everyone has a right to vote, including people who have already served their time for past legal transgressions. There is also a movement to push for a National Popular Vote instead of an electoral vote because it is more in line with the voice of those voting. source

An ongoing controversy about the moral, legal, and religious status of induced abortion. The hottest point of contention lies in which should receive the higher priority when a woman decides not to carry a fetus to term: The woman or the fetus?
